Minnie Sparkle

Minnie was only around 3 years old and came to Sparkle Cat Rescue when she was rescued from an outdoor colony. She was affectionate, easygoing, and never shy. Even when she became very sick, she continued to purr and enjoy being around people. She lived with her foster family Rachel and Steve and their kids in Burlington NC and was loved as if she were their own.

Minnie got along well with her foster kitty friends and shared a special bond with Larry, who was rescued with her. One of her favorite places was her cat tower by the window. She will always be remembered for her beautiful, striking eyes and sweet personality.

Despite every effort to save her, surgery revealed that Minnie had an inoperable intestinal tumor. She was peacefully euthanized while under anesthesia to prevent any further suffering.

We are grateful to everyone who donated, prayed, and supported Minnie throughout her journey. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
