Panda, my “Baby Girl,” crossed the Rainbow Bridge on March 16, 2026, at the age of16 years, 3 months, and 6 days, after filling our home with many years of love, laughter, and great memories.
Adopted in December of 2010, Panda immediately became an incredibly special part of our family. Known for being loyal, stubborn, gentle, and playful (in her younger years), she was always happiest when playing with her favorite toy, a black and white fuzzy skunk, playing Hide and Seek under a blanket, but mostly just cuddling on the couch next to her momma. Favorite memories include her special, comical habit of giving you the “side eye” that she did not hesitate to use when displeased.
Panda leaves behind her mother, Denise King, and her brother, Brian. Her momma, especially, will miss her “nose kisses” more than words can say, which she gave freely. Deafening silence and sadness now fill our house because Panda is no longer there.
Thank you, Panda, for your unconditional love and loyalty. You were not just a pet; you were my Baby Girl. I know that now you can see again, be without pain, and chase all the squirrels and geese you want. Till we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge.
But the poor man had nothing, except one little ewe lamb which he had bought and nourished and it grew up together with him and with his children. It ate of his own food and drank from his own cup and lay in his bosom, and it was like a daughter to him.
